Director

Jeril Hansen was born and raised in north central Washington and has been a Wenatchee resident for over 30 years.  She graduated from Central Washington University in Ellensburg with a BA in Community Health Education and later became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in 1988.  Jeril spent 12 years on the Washington Health Care Association Board of Directors and has held several executive committee positions and chaired committees including convention, education and quality improvement. Jeril has also been an Eden Alternative Associate since 1999.

With 30 years experience in long term care, she is committed to providing outstanding services to her residents, their family members and the Wenatchee community.  Jeril says, “Spending all this time with so many wise and well seasoned individuals, I think I have finally figured out their secret to happiness – it’s not how long you live, but how you live!!  If you live well, every day is a bonus no matter how many days you are given.”

Jeril has been married to her husband, Art, for 30 years and has 3 grown daughters, all who live in the Seattle area. In her free time, she enjoys traveling.

Health Care Coordinator/Registered Nurse

Lori Rix, a Licensed Registered Nurse, is an invaluable member of our healthcare staff. She serves as our Health Care Coordinator overseeing resident's care plans, medical and treatment needs, third party service coordination, and provides supervision and support to our trained caregiving staff.

Lori was born and raised in Wenatchee and graduated from Wenatchee Valley College School of Nursing in 1992.  Lori has dedicated decades of her professional career serving the needs and wishes of senior and special needs residents in long-term care settings.

Lori is very resident centered and compassionate in her approach to care. She is an Eden Alternative Associate and believes strongly in advocating for resident rights in all long-term care settings.

Lori is married with 4 children and shares a deep seated passion for motorcycles.
